How often should compression garments be replaced?
Short answer
For children
Because you're growing, you'll need new compression garments every few months — that's totally normal!
For parents & caregivers
More often than for adults — typically every few months — since children grow quickly and garments gradually lose their elasticity.

This varies between children, depending on growth, wear and daily use. If a garment becomes loose, uncomfortable, damaged or difficult to put on, it should be reviewed by your lymphoedema team — regular review matters just as much as wearing compression itself, since a garment that fitted well six months ago may no longer be the right size today.
